In addition to an afternoon of family fun, the Lansing and East Lansing Police and Fire personnel competed in the Challenge Cup bowling tournament with Lansing and East Lansing Fire Departments taking the honors and Lansing Fire taking the overall winning trophy. ... Over 60 guests enjoyed a five course dinner similar to one served to the first class passengers on the ship. All guests assumed the character of a real passenger and participated in the "play" as actors from Riverwalk Theater joined the tables and discussed the cruise. ... The project started 10 years ago. During that time, they made a commitment to collect one million tabs and become a member of the Million Tab Club. They achieved their goal in February.
